Foto Friday 10 – “Going Home”

As Kenzo and I walked back down into the city from the Sacsayhauman Ruins (which are just up in the hills above Cuzco), we encountered this little boy walking home from his job. I started to ask him about his llamas and he asked me for a sole to take a photo of him with them, which is his job. He works down near the Plaza de Armas trying to get tourists to pay him for his photo. Unfortunately I did not have any money on me. I asked him if he was hungry and wanted some cheese and he said no. I then started to walk away without my picture and he stopped me and said, "Puedas sacar mi foto amiga - You can take my picture friend." So, I took his photo and showed him in the camera and he smiled.

(PS.  if there were an award for worst bloggers, Kenzo and I would win it.  We have so much to tell about what we’ve been up to here, but we’ve been busy living it that we haven’t had a chance to sit down and write about it.  We promise to get better in days to come.  Happy Weekend!)
