Friday, October 28th was Kenzo’s 28th Birthday!  28 on the 28 – doesnt’ that have some special name?

Anyway, it was really cute because Richie and Dafne were so excited to wake Kenzo up with a big surprise.  Thursday morning Richie and I went to buy him a bunch of gifts and decorations and Thursday evening Dafne and I blew up the balloons and wrapped all of the gifts.  I thought that this must be something normal that they do in the mornings here on someone’s birthday – but, I found out the next day, when they asked me if this is how I always wake Kenzo up on his birthday – that it is not.  I guess both sides were excited to celebrate and thought we were celebrating in the form of the other.  Which – luckily for Kenzo, made for a great morning!(Kenzo was still sleeping at this time)
